It is easy to underestimate the amount of planning you need to do when undertaking a long-haul route such as the Reivers. Careful planning will ensure that you experience the maximum enjoyment possible during the ride

The Reivers Map
The official Reivers route map is probably the most important single thing you could take. Get one at a good bookshop or at the Sustrans Shop

Get the right map
Ensure that you have the latest (2002) edition Substantial changes were made to the route in 2002 reducing the ride from 187 to 171 miles.




Why not combine the Reivers with the C2C route to produce a stunning 310-mile round trip
