Calf Crag - Central Fells
Located on the eastern side of the High Raise massif, Calf Crag at 1,762ft is a modest fell by all accounts but is deservedly popular. Grasmere is the most convenient starting point with approaches possible along either Far Easedale or Green Burn. Popularly combined with Gibson Knott and Helm Crag.

The summit is a rocky knoll marked with a small cairn. Provides good views of Grasmere with the Helvellyn range rising behind. Paths on the fell follow the routes to Steel Fell, Gibson Knott and Sergeant Man.

Walla Crag - Central Fells
Walla Crag at only 1,243ft and located within walking distance of Keswick town centre, is a popular short walk from Keswick and provides superb views over Derwentwater. As such it offers great value and can be bagged in a few hours. The summit is marked by a large cairn and gives fine views over the islands of northern Derwentwater and the Vale of Keswick. There is also a clear line of sight down Borrowdale to the high fells.

Often combined with Bleaberry Fell, the return can encompass the delights of Ashness Bridge, the Great Wood and/or a return via the banks of the lake.
